keyboard problems

my keyobard has a number of keys that now don't work. the shift, control, option, command, spacebar, and caps lock don't work.don't ask me how long it takes to manually paste spaces after every word. i've restarted and unpluged the keyboard and nothing has worked. did i accidentally press some weird key combination that messed up the keyboard?

I assume this is on a stand-alone keyboard and not on a laptop keyboard?

If it's a laptop, check to make sure NumLock hasn't been pushed.

Is the keyboard still under warranty? If so, take it back and they may well replace it on the spot.

...and there's no other weird behavior that might imply some modifier key is stuck?
