Has anyone used Cisco's VPN software in Windows 2000 via Virtual PC? I'm thinking about a new Mac, but I know I'm going to have to get into my work's VPN from time to time to grab files from home. Just curious if anyone's had any issues.

On a similar note, has anyone ran MS Visual Studio .NET in Windows 2000 via Virtual PC? If so, how did it perform? VS.NET is a monster on a PC in the first place - just wondering if VPC can even handle it.

Thanks!

I can't help you on your VPN question. But about Visual Studio .NET, it runs fine on VMware on Linux with Windows XP as the host OS. I assume it should run just fine under Virtual PC, so long as you have a fast Mac to run Windows in the first place. :)

CISCO has a VPN client for OS X and Linux. I use it all the time to VPN into my company. What VPN does your company use? the 5000? 3000? I have never used it on VPC my self... but im sure it will work.

I've got VS.NET but was unable to run it in VPC, it just tells me that it's installed on too many computers

It helps to run VPC under OS 9, it's significantly faster than in OS X.
