Don't know if this is real or not, but it seems as such.

"In case you were wondering, it is possible to upgrade that measly 40GB hard drive on Apple TV, in this case to 120GB. Tipster Jonathan Bare says he's done it, resulting in a capacity of 107.36GB. Now that's more like it. "

I'm assuming he used Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the 40GB drive for the OS on it.

he's supposed to do a step-by-step later today.

Does anyone have an EyeTV and AppleTV? I'd be interested to know if you can plug the EyeTV into the AppleTV and see what happens.

I pulled the Apple TV HD out and mounted it. Looks pretty stardard stuff. It's just a slimed down Mac OS X. Even have the plist for login, ftp, etc...
