You may remember them from their hits in the 80s "A Little Respect" and Chains of Love"

I just wanted to pass this info out to those interested. Erasure have a new single coming out, "I Could Fall In Love With You" which will be released in the UK on April 2nd and the US on April 3rd. A clip can be heard via their myspace site (http://www.myspace.com/erasureofficial). The new album "Light at the end of the world" will be released on May 21st in the UK, and the 22nsd of May in the US.

They will also be touring in June with Cyndi Lauper, Debbie Harry, The Dresden Dolls and The Gossip (amongst others) on the True Colors festival in North American and Canada to support the Human Rights Campaign (http://www.hrc.org/).

Wow...what a coincidence! I was just thinking of them yesterday when listening to the Mexican new wave group Moenia (http://www.moenia.com/) (who actually sound more like Depeche Mode, but I thought of Erasure also). Thanks for the links!

FYI, in the future...you can change text into links inside your post. Just select the text you want to change into a link first, then hit the little link icon (the globe with the chain) and paste your link in the dialog box that appears. That'll save people from having to copy and paste the links into the address bar.

I will have to check them out. Always happy to find new artists!

Thanks for the tip on the links. I just typed them in as I do when writing on my blog, I didn't even notice it didn't work right. I have changed that :)

paboy, are you part of the "virtual street team" organized through the official forum? :D

Looking forward to the new album...I like what I've heard so far. I've been a pretty serious fan for over a decade now, and it's been an interesting ride. I saw them in Toronto on the Cowboy tour and here in SF on The Erasure Show tour. I was out of town for their swing through SF on The Other Tour, and elected not to pony up the $75/ticket for The Acoustic Tour.

Still haven't decided whether to head over to Berkeley for the True Colors tour. I haven't been paying a lot of attention to the plans for it...any indication on how long they're planning on playing? I'm just not all that excited about the rest of the acts.

Why yes, I would be :) And without even looking at your reply, I could tell by your screen name that I had found another fellow Erasure fan here! :)

I am hoping to get tickets to the True Colors concert here in Denver, they are playing Red Rocks! I have asked for them for my birthday, but financially, I can't get one on my own right now. :(

I got to go see the Acoustic Tour last year, and it was amazing! We had seats in the third row center!
