Hi folks,

I'm here to offer brand new mac systems at big discounts. No scam or gimmicks, because here's how it works: I buy the computers from a college campus computer store that has occasional special deals and packages, and I have them ship it directly to you. Plain and simple.

I utilize escrow so that your purchase is 100% safe. If you're not familiar with escrow, they serve as a middle-man to make sure that both buyer and seller are protected. The buyer first pays the escrow company, and they hold the money while I purchase the computer and have it shipped directly to you. After you've recieved it and verified everything, only then will they send me a check. I use www.escrow.com, a fully licensed and accredited escrow company reccomended by eBay, you can check them out for yourself.

I have sold to people on mac forums before, and I can provide solid references. If you have any questions or comments, I would prefer that you e-mail me directly rather than reply here. Here are the most current prices for what I am offering:

Hey iJon.

First off, I didn't change my name.

Second, it is not illegal by local, state, or federal law, and you were never able to prove that it was.

Third, Apple's own policies are vague on reselling, and EVEN if they were not followed, it doesn't make an activity illegal. It's just like the people who are sharing their iTunes playlists over the internet. Apple policy frowns upon it, but that doesn't make it illegal now does it? I see thousands of mac users still doing it. It's the consumer's choice to do what they want in the end.

Fourth, I really don't appreciate your rudeness and efforts to shut down this forum and contact Apple, especially since I'm not doing anything illegal. I've been an avid mac advocate and supporter since owning a mac IIsi back in the day, and I continue to support Apple. They're a great company, but many of their products are so expensive that they become innaccessable to a lot of people. Thus, what I'm doing is actually helping Apple and helping Apple users by selling their products and making them a profit, and also making their products more affordable to the everday joe who isn't rich. I myself am a hardworking college student who was only able to afford my current mac because of a scholarship. Give people a break.

So I think your moral crusade is misdirected, especially since the service I am offering is both helpful for the corporation and the consumer. Whatever your personal convictions might be, I think you should let the consumers and users of the forum decide what they want to do with their money, especially if it is not illegal. Sheesh, at least I'm not scamming people and ripping people off on eBay like some people. If you would like to have a lengthier discussion, please feel free to e-mail me. In the meanwhile, at least be civil and respectful. Thanks.

Are you charging tax on these machines, if you arent tax fraud is the first illegal operation on your list. you are not an authorized apple dealer so you are not allowed to resell them. and 3rd only apple can sell educational computers, not a reseller, so its impossible for to sell them legally. and i dont care what you say, i will contact apple again and try to get this thread closed if it means contacting every admin on this site, i will do the same over at spymac.

Go iJon this seems like the same guy to me too. He obviously doesn't know what it means to read the releases about educational products. It says that they are not for resale. Also Apple did not frown on the networking of music files they frowned on the part when people started dowloading the streams and keeping the music which WAS and IS illegal.

I know its the same guy, its the same email address. It is illegal. Apple has a presense in every state so him selling without sales tax is tax fraud which is a Felony. and then the other countless contracts be is breaking with Apple legal, this guy is to dumb to relealize what he is doing.

Not to mention the person selling them to him is breaking all sorts of contracts as they are only suppose to sell one computer per person per school year.
