I was just reading all the sections over at: http://www.appletvhacks.net and the accessory's sections got me thinking about what future accessories would you like to see developed for the AppleTV.
Firstly, I'd like to see a hard drive update - i know that it can now be done yourself but that is a dangerous option, so I would like Apple to release a major harddrive update. Internally for the new customers (more expensive) and external (cheaper) for existing customer.
I think that it should be the same size as the existing product so that the AppleTV can sit on top with a tiny cable connecting the two devices (possibly USB) - that port has got to do something!
OR for Apple to listen to all their customers and release something which can allow everyone to plug their own external hard drives into it.
Other would be:
= recording device, same shape/size as the AppleTV but with the functions.
= DVD player
Any other suggestions?
