Hi! I have a 15" MacBook Pro and am on a mission to find a 22"~24" display that will live at home. I would love to get an Apple Cinema Display but they are so freakin expensive. Any suggestions?

Try the search function. It seems like about 20% of all questions in this section are about Apple Cinema Displays. Anyway, just get the Dell 2407. You won't be disappointed.

Well I'll toss one in. While I love the dell display, I did see a gateway in an office max the other day and it was nice! Bright and sexy actually. I never thought I'd say that about gateway, but hey--if it works, it works.

OP -- I just got a coupon from Dell for 20% off the Dell 2407. The price with the coupon is $569. It's an excellent price -- I got mine for $699 in November. The coupon code is FVPQ4NMFKF6RMV. Enjoy!

I always recommend ViewSonics. My personal preference, mine have always seemed better than any comparable sized Dell or Apple display I've ever seen.

Doesn't ViewSonic make their own panels in some, if not all of their displays?

woah... how did you change your name?

Duff-Man says...the HP monitors are also *very* highly rated, probably even more so than the Dell ones (I have said it before and perhap it is just a personal prejudice, but I could never put a penny in the pocket of Michael Dell after all the BS he has said about Apple..it'd just seem seem 'dirty' to me to do so)...oh yeah!
