For goodness sake chaps, check the date of the article :D

In a rare move, the US Department of Commerce on Friday announced tariffs ranging from 10 to 20 per cent on imports of Chinese glossy paper, which can be used to make company annual reports and various catalogues.

It use to be that tariffs on durable goods from Germany were very expensive, but people didn't mind paying the price for high quality goods. I predict people wouldn't want to pay a premium for Chinese garbage though. ;)

As far as Macs go, we're already paying a premium price even though they're still made in China.

You have to admit that Macs are well-built, though. I don't mind paying a premium for them. :)

My Mac is slightly upscale; it's made in Taiwan. ;)
