X1900 vid card for mac pro - buy elsewhere?

hi,

i'm hopefully zapping the buy button in a few weeks on a mac pro (yah for me) 🙂

I was thinking i might treat myself and get an upgraded video card. i've stuck with the stock cards in my g5 and g4, but i've always wondered if a stronger card would help me out (photoshop and video work).

so, i'm in canada...anywhere most cost effective than directly from apple to buy this card?

also, am i right in thinking that bto machines can't be returned? maybe i should buy the stock machine and upgrade later? not sure. i know i'll be buying ram and harddrives elsewhere.

any feedback is appreciated.
