Ok, Heres the deal. I have a 17in iMac C2D and a 20in. monitor hooked up to it. The 20 inch monitor sits perpendicular to the iMac on another desk. I ONLY use the 20 incher for Photoshop. I want to keep the dock on my iMac. but when I use PS, I want the menubar to be on the 20 inch. but I can only get the menu bar to be on the monitor that has the dock in it. Is it possible to drag the menubar over to the 20 inch screen or something?

When you get the picture of the two displays in System Prefs, you can drag the white bar in the top of one of the 'displays' to the other one. I don't know if this brings the Dock with it as well; i haven't used multiple displays in a long time.

See if Dock-It can help you:

Dock-It allows you to have multiple docks and gives you some more flexibility. I'm not sure if it gives you the option of a single dock on a screen besides the one that has the menubar, but perhaps you can use it to turn on an additional dock and then disable the real dock using another program?

If you put the dock on the SIDE of the screen, it'll stick to that side of your combined workspace regardless of where the menubar is.
