Printing on a network (can I get a separator page)

I am printing from my MacBook Pro onto a networked HP LaserJet 8150. When printing from a windows machine, it goes through a print server and prints a separator page. When printing from the Mac, it is going directly to the IP of the printer and no page. I keep losing my prints!
