hey guys im new to this forum so excuse me for my noobish questions...
but my campus bookstore is selling the 2.0Ghz white macbook for $999.00
with the purchase of applecare. i need a new laptop since my dell died on me
i guess i could hold off for the new macbook...but iono...thanks for the help
 
$999 isn't bad for a new one. Is it a Core Duo or Core 2 Duo? Also, is the Applecare on top of the $999 price?
 
my school has a similar offering, $999 for the middle macbook (c2d), but only if you buy applecare on top of the macbook for an additional $183. it's similar to buying a macbook and getting applecare for free. if you can hold out, i'd wait for newer models.
 
I've always been of the opinion 'if you need it, buy it.' If you don't have a computer, jump on this deal. It's a good one!
