I love the wording in this Apple Knowledge Base article:
As if it were a swarm of bees, you should stay away from the SyncServices folder in Mac OS X 10.4. Removing or modifying anything in it—or in subfolders within it—may cause unexpected issues.
Since metaphor, Apple.

I'll do what you suggest to avoid getting stung!

I see potential for many of the MR FAQs and stickies to be rewritten with appropriate hazardous insecty metaphors.

And Apple is even making use of the infamous white text:
remove rename move don't sync services turn off service

Looks like they've been reading too much MacRumors! 😉

"whether it's a swarm of bees or a bull chasing you, it doesn't really change things better just keep on running"

what a good quote

Aren't you going to give us some examples?

Don't rename your Home folder or else a bunch of mosquitos will bite you and you'll get those annoying little red bumps all over you, and no matter how many of those little red X's you make with your fingernail (see Figure 1) it just won't help!

Why is mentioning the PowerBook G5 a bannable offence?? Clearly it is a joke...

Banned. Just kidding. But really the white text had to make me laugh. Not only is Apple professional, they are professionally funny!(that sounded funnier in my head)

That has to be the funniest thing I've seen all day.
