sharing internet through ethernet, mac to pc

Hello,


I hook my desktop windows pc to my macbook pro through ethernet to transfer files.

since my desktop doesn't get very good reception, i want to have my macbook pro's airport internet conenction be shared with my desktop through ethernet.

i go to sharing/internet and turn on to share airport through ethernet, but my windows pc doesn't get the internet through ethernet yet. how do i set up the pc?

Make sure the PC's ethernet port is enabled and maybe disable the wireless card too. 🙂

make sure it's share ethernet through airport, probably just a typo.

Does the PC have a manual IP address or is it set for DHCP, I think it should be the latter but I may be wrong.

Were you able to solve this problem?

I have the save problem and I am using a crossover ethernet cable. I am not able to configure Windows 7.
