Unable to access external disk

Ok. Just typed this all and lost it, so this is My Post v.2 (Abbreviated!).

I have an old LaCie disk I can't access, here's what the System Profiler shows:

Yeah. The 'bad one' has no partition type and so it probably has not been partitioned at all yet. A reformat should help. 😎
