Hi, about 3 weeks ago my hard disk on my mb pro failed and I had to take it into an apple store to get it replaced. When I got the computer back it worked great until i tried to install windows with boot camp. I got this error message:

"Your startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition.

Back up the disk and use Disk Utility to format the disk as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume. Restore your information to the disk and try using Boot Camp Assistant again."

Someone told me to boot from an os x startup cd and use disk utility to repair the disk, i tried that, i got a message saying "1 hfs volume repaired, no problems found". I got the same error message when i tried boot camp again after that.

thanks a lot
