I recently installed XP Media Center Edition on bootcamp and installed the drivers but the sound card driver didn't seem to install. I thought it may have been a glitch during the install process so i ran the install again. Nothing. I went into the folder containing the drivers and ran the setup separately. Sigmatel sound card installer made me reboot and then told me The System does not support the driver or somthing like that and terminated. I went into Device Manager and tried installing the drivers that way but to no success.
I'm using a Macbook Core Duo.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

MCE is not supported,

But i thought apple said compatible with Windows XP SP2 only. MCE is a version of XP?

It's Windows XP SP2 Media Center Edition.

...MCE is a version of XP?

close. MCE is based on xp, but there are only two versions of XP (home & pro). MCE requires different drivers and is not supported by bootcamp. check google, as it can be done, but there are some workarounds required. best of luck.
