applications closing after period of time

Hey guys, I've been having this problem where after my computer is idle for like an hour or so, it will start to close out applications on its own, such as itunes,firefox and a few other ones. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
 
Do you have any theme changers installed? If you open a new user account in System Preferences, do you find the apps in this new account also close after an hour? If they don't then we can narrow the problem down to your original account's Home folder. 🙂
