and tell me there are not a lot of whiners here.
nab is a pro-only event, maybe put that in bold size 7 capitals in the front page story. reading thru all that whiny, slightly trollish posts is a vexing exercise. i don't like to exercise. for pros, this is a pretty freaking huge upgrade.
get rid of the whiners please. <-- haha omg the irony!

There are legitimate complaints...
It was possible that the outdated ACDs would be updated, and they were not...

Still, most reasonable people would agree that the signal to noise ratio on that thread was lessened by the wheeners, err... I mean whiners. :p

Technically your whining. Oh wait I'm whining about you whining! Ahhh...
In all seriousness this is a popular internet forum. We all know what anonymity and a public voice can produce.

It is my impression that there may well be a lot of whingers here, but there are not a lot of whiners. :D

Realization of the fact that the masses are unaware of Lincoln's sage advice, "better to keep one's mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt," begs the question:
Can't they (at least) be (better) trained? :p

People like to complain. It's a fact of life. We have to live with it.

Whining about whining. Hmm...doesn't really do much for the signal to noise ratio around here. ;)
As others have said, everyone has an opinion and the forums are for sharing them.

This is nothing!
Look up "Photokina" and you will see thousands of posts from whiners.
And you can also take the time to look up past NAB events, and the middle age Powerbook G4 era when everyone was expecting or looking for a Powerbook G5!

New versions of the ACD's are probably waiting on leopard with its resolution independent displays so they can take the pitch from 72 dpi to 128 or higher without making everything look tiny.

Yikes-- 'everything' is waiting on Leopard by the sounds of things....:p
Well, not everything, the iPhone doesn't seem to be (given it is stealing resourses by the sounds of things...)
