i have seen this around and love the look.

can anyone tell me how to make it in photoshop or illustrator or fireworks.

Illustrator would probably work the best. just take the text, copy and paste it twice (save one for the color and arrange that to the front). Take the other two and make them all black and outline the text (make it a non-text editing object).

Align them like you want them and do a blend by selecting the same point on each curve. Then place that behind the colored one and you haev it.

nah, i was just giving you a hard time - thanks for making sure it worked :D

Trying it in photoshop would require more work - outlining the text, selecting it and then editing it by hand. Drop shadows wouldn't work - but there might be an action or filter that would do the trick.

But I'd stick with Illustrator and then just copy and paste it into PS.

the font is very similar to VAG Rounded.

mixin visuals:

have your powerbook connected to a video-beamer and then mix visuals.
i.e. mix different video/animations feeds mostly done live to fit music played by the dj.

right guess, heh?
