Need a little help....Activity monitor wont open...

I typically have it running all the time. Just saw it wasnt running, went to open it, bounced once in the dock, and thats it, wont open.

Ideas?

Restart your Mac?

Log off and then log back in.

Check permissions, check the system.log in console.

Repair permissions worked. There were tons and tons of repaired permissions it looked like, and almost all of them dealt with itunes. Weird.

Just wondering. Did you update iTunes recently? I think you should repair permissions every time you update.

As a matter of fact I think I did. I know I did it semi-recently. Didnt know about repairing permissions whenever I update, still fairly new to the Mac scene. Will keep that in mind for the future. Thanks.
