It's got to be charged right away right? I mean the battery...for about how long?

They usually come with a bit of pre-charging. My 20GB iPod takes about 1-2 hours to fully charge, I think.

BTW, where did you find your 303 GB hard drive mod? 😉

I've been looking for a 404 GB iPod but can never seem to find it. 😉

Not sure I understand what your question? I just bought a 30 Gig iPod from Apple online...mainly to get the engraving. 😛 80 was just too much...

My wife got mine at a local Apple store for Christmas - I wonder if I could have got engraving.

only the online store does it from what i understand

Some times there are little shops in malls that will do engraving on different things. If you really want it done could be worth checking into.
