When did Apple do these?

First time I ever caught sight of one was earlier today on ebay.co.uk (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2735907855).

I wonder if they ever considered revising the idea for the current generation of Macs?

Hrm.

i think it was 1994? i have one of those somewhere. cool trinket. don't really know why they never caught on, apple was just a bit ahead of their time... i too wish they'd do one for current macs, but i doubt it will happen in the near future... i think apple considers them too visually complicated...

There was a time a few years back when the Ergo 'boards were all the rage. It would seem from the date you mention that Apple may well have started that trend to. Heh.

there is also a pad with numbers, arrows, f-keys and the pg up/dwn etc.

http://mail.apple.com.pl/download/_PDFLibrary/Peryferia_i_karty/Keyboard_Adjustable.pdf

the date on the back of mine is 1992 and the pdf says 1993, so somewhere in between there.
