I'm no programmer by any means, but I have to have a program developed on Windows and I would really like to make use of my Macbook's remote control.

I was curious about some sort of API or some resources that the programmer could use to ensure everything works. Any help would be appreciated.

The latest BootCamp drivers support the remote, so I'm sure the drivers would register it as a standard remote. If that is true, then you should be able to use any standard API for accessing the remote.. if Windows has that. Good luck.
