iMac G3 + iChat usbcam

my brothers iMac G3 has iChat AV with a usb cam (with the ichat usbcam software). when we trying using it just shows his desktop and not him. and whenever he tries to change the video source it says to close all videos Apps. any ideas?

I'm not too sure but I beileve there is some limitations to iLife 06 with these kind of applications on a G3. Check the cpu requirements. Other than that, I have no idea but to buy a G4 upgrade to the iMac.

iLife 06? what are you talking about?

Isn't iChat part of the iLife suite of Tiger apps? If so, I think there is some G3 limitation on these applications. Do you know what iLife is?
