After responding to another users FS thread for items including the above, it seems to have disappeared.
So I'm after the following two items:
1. 15" PowerBook Top Lid - This is the part with the Apple logo on it.
2. 15" PowerBook Bottom Pan - This is the part that goes around the bottom. I have no need for the palmrest/trackpad area but I will consider offers of an entire housing.
I also have no need for any components, just the case itself and the latch release button must be included on the bottom pan.
This is for a 1.33Ghz Aluminium G4 PowerBook, although anything from a 1.25Ghz-1.67Ghz will work fine.
Thanks, David

Go to applecomponents.com. Alex is a two-guy operation with really, really grand prices. They've got a big salvage shop and he's always been able to come up with stuff for me.
(he'd probably even ship to furry-boot-town)

Thanks for posting that but would you know anyone that does Macbook Pro parts? My 15" bottom pan is a bit...well...dented.. and I would love to swap it out so that things align properly again.
Thanks very much!!!

Actually, there's a difference. You need 1.25 to 1.5a. The second generation 1.5 and above attaches to the top case differently.

I have a PB 15", that employee spilled soda on and fried the logic board.
The top pan should be in excellent condition, but I know the bottom pan is dented where the optical media slot is.
The top pan has a brand new mechanism installed, but I want to make sure of the condition it is in though before offering it to you.

Hi
I banged up my trusted machine recently and need to replace the pan and the top lid.
Any suggestions where to look? And how much should I pay for used parts?
Powerbook medic lists new parts which are too steep.
Thanks for your help
