ever had a problem not connecting to certain sites?

Just recently, I cannot conect to ther servers of certain sites, thereby not connecting to said sites.

A couple of message boards, Yahoo, and I haven't checked what else. It's more than frustrating, and I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

Ahhh, by the way - I have a Powerbook G4 and a PowerPC iMac. Using AT&T Yahoo DSL. I have tried on both computers with the same results.

Have you tried different browsers too? Do you have a firewall installed? Maybe give your ISP a call to see if they've blocked it for one reason or another. 🙂

Yeah I've had the problem, but I was also using the wireless network at a public school. The funny thing was watching the trail of newly blocked sites (including this one) that I created.

Definitely check with your ISP. Also, try something other than Safari, I find that its cache is quirky and sometimes Firefox would load a site whereas Safari thought it was still blocked or not loading.

If it's a DNS problem, you might consider switching to OpenDNS.
