aka - your Leopard pal.
Want to use Time Machine and "go back in time?" Well, you can't right now, but when Leopard finally comes out you'll be all set - if you have one of these (http://www.g-technology.com/Products/G-DRIVE.cfm).
Purchased about a month ago from the Apple store (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=9D4EACF7&nplm=TJ244LL/A). Excellent operating condition, mint condition. Yours for $100.00 PLUS shipping (UPS). Comes in original packaging with utterly useless CD of mostly marketing junk that G-Tech includes, and FW and USB cables.
I've backed up my hard drive to this thing and it's reputation for being fast is well-deserved. It's reputation for fanless, quiet operation is not (http://www.oreillynet.com/digitalmedia/blog/2006/08/gdrive_external_hard_disk_for.html). It's fanless, but you can hear the drive spinning and much more so when it's reading and writing. When it sleeps it's completely silent. The drive is well engineered for cooling, the case never gets hot.
Nevertheless, My 250 gig OWC FW/USB drive is quieter than the G-Tech and performs just as well, so it's time to say farewell to the G-Drive.
Shipping to the USA only.
