I just recieved this iMac from an auction, and as you can see in the picture, there are a few stickers on the base, as well as a really stuck on clear sticker to the right of the yellow sticker. My question is, what would be the best and safest way to remove all of these stickers without ruining the iMac? I was thinking Goo-Gone, but i'm not sure what that would do to it. What does everyone suggest?

goo-be-gone or something like that should work. Just rub on a cloth and it should work

Goo-Gone should be fine. I have used it to remove carpet glue off of finished hardwood floors. It didn't do any damage to the floors or the finishing. It should be fine.

Before using any harsh chemicals I would try using rubbing alcohol.

Alcohol is a harsh chemical where some plastics are concerned.
Orange cleaners like Goo-Gone are best for removing labels. For the plastic label, you'll need to peel it off then break up the glue with goo-gone afterwards, because it won't soak through the plastic.
If the plastic has been discolored by the labels, gently brushing with toothpaste usually lifts out the stain on those iMac white bases.
Hope this helps...

Yup alcohol can harm some plastics... It is best to test any chemical you are using in an inconspicuous spot.
You might even want to try removing it with water and a cloth first. ;)

Peel off the sticker. Then go to Wal mart to the painting section and get a product called "Oops!" It's a adhesive/latex paint remover. It is Mac/iPod safe (I know, I've used it on such). Put a little Oops on a paper towel and gently rub away the adhesive residue. WARNING: Do NOT apply oops directly to the Mac!! This is bad.
Good luck!
