The first owning:
Jack Thompson gives in to Take Two. (http://gamepolitics.com/2007/04/19/breaking-grand-theft-auto-publisher-settles-lawsuit-against-jack-thompson/)
Kotaku says:
According to Game Politics, Take-Two Interactive and frequent tragedy exploiter Jack Thompson have settled their current disputes before going to trial. In March, Take-Two filed a suit in federal court following Thompson's attempts to block the sale of the games Grand Theft Auto IV and Manhunt 2, which was followed by the Miami [expletive deleted] going "Nuh uh" and countersuing the publisher.

The settlement now assures that JT will not: sue or threaten to sue to block sale or distribution of any game published by Take Two or its subsidiaries; communicate to Take Two or anyone doing business with T2 (like, say Wal-Mart) any accusation that the company committed any wrongdoing by selling its games; make any future contacts with T2 unless it's through its attorneys.

That's right; JT can no longer sue or threaten TT's game sales. He can't so much as COMMUNICATE with Take Two's business partners or make accusations against them.

He made this settlement to keep Take Two from tossing him in jail for being in contempt of court and losing tons of money because of Take Two's lawsuit. Too bad, I'd have loved to see him get some jail time. Regardless...

Owning number 2: MSNBC publicly disses Jack Thompson in featured article.

That's right; mainstream media defending video games!

Jack Strikes Back:

Jack adds Kotaku to his lawsuit, in a terribly worded legal document that sounds like it was written by a small child. Check the link to read.

Uh oh! Now Mac Rumors must be out to get him now because of this thread.

What a joke he is, and thankfully, everyone, including mainstream media, are beginning to see it.

I read some of Jack's legal stuff for the Take Two stuff and it was quite rediculous too.
