Weak Airport Signal

Even with my Airport Base Station next to my Mac (PowerMac G5) , I get two ticks of signal, at best. The other Macs in the house have no problem. Would you think this is an Airport card issue, or perhaps the built-in antenna in the PowerMac?
 
It could be interference so maybe try fiddling with the broadcast channel to see if you can get better results.
