I've been thinking about this for some time. I like that a mbp is portable, but I like the size of iMac 24". So I've come up with a solution that I would like others oppinions about, and if you have any cheaper solutions.

80g iPod $314

I need to figure out a buget for a student load as this will be purchased with that. I need everything for school except the iPod, but my iPod mini battery no longer holds a charge.
