Hey all,

I just purchased a 17" MacBook Pro as well as a Case-mate sleeve. However, I quickly remembered that I'll need to carry the power adapter, extra battery and likely other accessories around with me when I have the laptop.

So, for those of you have a 17" what case/accessories do you have and use and what would you recommend I pick up?? I've looked at keyboard protectors, aluminum cases, etc but I'm not sure what's worth getting.

I have the Incase Sling bag - it's been perfect for my needs so far. I crammed a TON in it when i needed to, including my Canon 20D! I normally don't carry it slung - it hangs on my right shoulder fine and secure.

That is all i've really bought at this point....

I love this kind of case. (http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?pfp=BROWSE&No=20&N=200024+4294964468&Ne=301257&product_code=51973162&Pn=Student_Laptop_Shuttle_for_15_4_inch_Notebooks) It's simple -- holds your laptop and charger, nothing more and nothing less. I would imagine they have one for 17" too.

I bought a Brenthaven case last summer when I got my MBP. The 17" had just come out, and even the Apple Store in my area hadn't received any thing for 17" systems yet, so I ordered it from the Brenthaven web site. Not cheap, but extremely good and versitle laptop case.

I have the Incase Sling bag...

Ditto. It's the best case out there for the 17-inch. Only sold at Apple Store.
