Just met the Quark Express Alien for the first time..

If you do it several times in a row (five or six, I can't remember how many exactly) a bigger, more heavily armed alien pops up and zaps the first.

Apparently that doesn't work in the later version although it would be highly amusing!
In my previous job, the Quark alien was a mandatory part of the training process for all newbies.

In some versions (certainly circa v4/v5) if you kept some combination of CMD-ALT-SHIFT held down while choosing the "About" info box, you got a lovely* slideshow of the development team's mugshots.
