If it works as advertised, and will let you sync to your computer while docked (via that USB port on the back), then it will blow Apple's dock out of the water.

If it's not terribly expensive, I might even want one.

I saw the Creative Xdock at the Apple store in Orlando today. It looked really nice and from what I could hear in the store, it sounded great. I could hear an improvement in the music playback when activating the Creative sound enhancement. It features lots of connections. From what I can tell, everything you need to use your iPod with a home theater setup. The store employees also explained that you can just use Xdock as a wireless solution to put your iPod music in any room of your house. Of course, you need additional receivers for each room.

This one could be a winner!

If I had a creative music player, I'd be hamed.

Unless let it work with Creative players too

Good point Zap. I went to their site to check out their X-Fi offerings and along with the Xdock for iPod, they make Xmod Wireless which lets you play your music from your PC wirelessly around the house with X-Fi audio enhancement. You can't dock a player, but it features inputs which let you connect any player. I wonder if they will have a docking version for their own players down the road? I guess it's great for many folks that iPod users get the cool third party accessories first.
