Hi,

Is there any way to hide certain file types in the finder windows, so that only important files show up in the folders? I compile LaTeX documents which create .log and .aux files, which just clutter up the folders. Is there a way to make these files invisible? (If it matters, they are regenerated every time I change the document, so it would be preferable if I could hide all documents with a particular extension. Thanks -Adam

I was wondering about this myself. Is this possible??

For example, i have alot of desktop.ini and Thumbs.db files around my Mac constantly cause I have it shared with Windows in VMware.

Is it possible to add certain file names to a 'hide list' somewhere??
