Macbook Bluetooth Help!

I have a Motorola L2 and I tried to send a small ringtone file from my macbook through blutooth. My phone sees the file, but when i press accept, an error message pops up on my macbook saying "file transfer failed: internal error" and i cannot download it onto my phone. What can i do in this situation?
 
You might have more luck on a motorola forum but heres what I'd try:

a) try sending a different file to the phone

b) try sending a file to a different bluetooth device

See where and when the message pops up (if at all)

That should narrow down more specfically where the problem is, and take it from there.
 
Have you tried browsing the phone instead? I used to have the same problem if I selected Send File instead of Browse Device, but I've sent several ringtones to my Razr since doing the browsing.
