Hey, I've had my Macbook 1.83ghz for like 6 or 7 months now and I haven't had any major problems up until now.

The Trackpad clicker has recently began to 'stick', it's hard to explain but it doesn't respond as it used to and it takes quite a heavy push now for it to respond, so it's pretty much impossible for me to drag files and work in Photoshop.

I did quite a bit of Googling to try and find similar problems but I only found this solution (http://ibloggedthis.com/2006/06/29/an-origami-solution-to-the-apple-macbook-trackpad-squishy-button-problem/) of using paper to fix it, which didn't work for me.

Anyone have any ideas?

Check in system preferences to makesure that you didn't change any settings for clicking, if the key is actually stuck, then I can't think of anything other than having Apple fix it.

Hmm, nothing's changed in the system prefs.

How would I go about getting Apple to fix it? Haven't had to do it before.

To get Apple to fix it call Applecare, and they will either tell you how to fix it, if you can do it yourself or arrange for you to take it in somewhere to be fixed.

Hmm, is there any way to get in touch with them online? I can't get to a phone right now.
