need help ASAP!

I"m trying to export my project onto a tape via a camera...
its in VCR mode...i go to print video... click my options etc. and when it starts to record its blue..... and their is no video/audio recorded.
i've tried to turn off/quit FC several times with no luck. It works fine importing but not exporting

Some cameras require you to press the record button on your camera as the video plays through. Does that help at all?

if it helps its a sony DCR-VX2000

When it starts to record the screen is blue and there is a red dot indicating its recording...

have you checked if your video playback settings are set for your firewire device and your external video settings are selected to All Frames?

Thats the most common reason for your problem
