I found this old Mac B&W that already has Mac OS 10.3 installed on it. I already have an intel iMac so I want to put Mac OS 9 on the B&W to use some old classic applications that will not run under classic for some reason on the B&W. Is there any way to completly erase OS 10.3 so I can install Mac OS 9?

If I remember correctly, you can boot using the OS 9 install CD, and do an erase and install, or format the whole drive and then install.
Just to remind you, B&W macs can boot from OS 9 in addition to OS X, so you don't have to remove OS X just to use some programs natively in OS 9.

You don't have to delete OS X to install OS 9.
Just throw the OS 9 CD in, boot from it, install. Then in either the System Preferences on X or the Control Panel on 9, select the version that you want to boot from.
They can coexist quite peacefully.
