After Effects and stuttering animations problem

Hi all-

I've rendered out a AVI in After Effects and then placed it as a 3d layer in a 3d composition, and then rendered a new composition, which the new AVI is part of. Whilst the original AVI does not stutter, it does in the new comp. Does anyone know why this is occuring?

We're working in PAL 1024x576, using After Effects 7.0 Pro.

Hi there

I've just had a problem very similar to the one you describe, I have no idea why it happens, but found that using the render queue to render the shot instead of the 'export as avi' option solves the problem...no stuttering!
