I have a background image that I would like to tear as if some claws had ripped through it. I have managed to get the look right using a subtractive mask but want to be able to have an effect that looks like the paper peeling back behind the nails.
Is this possible or will I need to export it frame by frame and edit by hand? If so would Gimpshop be able to handle it or would I need to use something like Blender?
