FCP problem

I'm making a video at the moment where the main picture is cropped left and right then moves over to the right hand side of the screen, then the image freezes. It looks fine inside FCP but when I burn the sequence to a DVD the image seems to flicker really badly.
Does anyone have an idea on how I can fix this??

edit: actually i've figured it out, as it is a still frame of an interlaced picture i think i need to use an antiflicker filter
