I'm interested in taking a banged up, scuffed, old, mac mini off of someone's hands provided that it is still functional.

What I'm trying to do is find a way for my external HD (see signature) to exist on my home wireless network so that I don't have to be plugged in to it to access content (e.g. my music library). I've looked into Network Storage solutions and a couple look really cool, like adapters for my external hardrive to attach directly to my router...but most of the reviews are not good (poor transfer speeds, HD reformatting required, etc.)

So I figure, why not just set up a small headless server. I think the Mac Mini would be the most painless way to do that...but I don't want to spend more than I would to buy the ASUS WL-500g Premium router (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320008). I'm sure someone out there must have a mac mini that was attacked by their dog or toddler, or that they just want to get rid of...

Well here's your chance, I'm cheap and interested in your "junk" mini.

I'm also interested in other suggestions that you might have for my network storage problem.

I don't know how many people would sell a functioning Mac Mini for < $100. I've got a functioning headless (display was broken so I removed it completely) PowerBook G4 if you're interested. Even for that though I'd be asking more than that router.
