I want to contact applecare, but can't find the link to start a session. Anyone know were it is? I've used there email/chat room about 1 year ago, but can't find it.
My problem is: trying to setup a microphone. I've set it to line in etc, when i talk there is nothing on the meter??
sys prefs - Sound - input - audio line-in port.
input vol is max - input level is nothing!!!?

On my PB, just plugging a mic in won't do it. I have to use a Griffin iMic (external sound card, I believe it is) between the mic and the PB.

You already said it, but you'll probably don't know there is a difference:
It's a Line-in, not a Mic-in. There is a difference in sensitivity. A Mic-in is very sensitive and you can hook up a normal mic. The Line-in is for normal audio, if you wan't to connect a normal mic, you have to put a mic-amp between it or convert the signal to digital to a USB port, like with the Griffin iMic.
