This is great man thanks! Anyway, it would be even greater if you posted small text next to the keynote's years so we know what it's actually announced there:) lol, I know, I'm being stupid, picky and ungrateful :D
Now really, many thanks for the links, is there any way to download these mov's? :)

I'm working on it right now...I'll of course credit toxicbomber for putting it together.
Edit: It's here (http://guides.macrumors.com/Apple_Keynote_Archive). Feel free to edit the page to add highlights of what was introduced/discussed at each event.
Edit #2: Doctor Q has added a link to the guide at the top of this forum.

You can't view full screen in quicktime, you need PRO.
VLC can play a video full screen if you really need it.

Want two suggestions?
1. Add dates on the links in the "Miscellaneous Apple Events" section.
2. Check, replace, or remove the link for "Apple Introduces the iPod" since the movie doesn't seem to be available at that address anymore.

This is easily one of my favorite threads. Unfortunately, a lot of those links are no longer active, as Apple has removed the content from their servers. It's a shame, really, especially since Applekeynotes.com was shut down.
In any case, I've got a question to the community at large: I've got the "Complete Apple Keynote Collection" (which I downloaded from a site I won't name here), but whoever encoded some of the files used some very strange codec. WWDC 2003, for instance, won't play in QT (with Perian and Flip4Mac), VLC, MPlayer, or any other media player. I've got every codec I can possibly imagine being used installed, and yet some files still just won't play. Does anyone else have this collection, and have you had/solved the same issue?

Try downloading Real Player.

I have. They're .MOV files, and even the latest version of Real Player says it cannot play them with the installed version of QT. Only one file in the collection is encoded in REAL format, and it plays fine in Real Player.

.Mov files should play in quicktime easily, maybe those files are corrupt.

I got the iBook Introduction link to work, see how they work is the .mov files are reference files. The computer reads that (and if it's still active) the file directs the computer to the best video file based on the internet connection speed.
So using the iBook link (which linked to an iBook ref.mov file, download that file by holding down Option, open the file in TextEdit to see the list of move file names it links to)
It's a little difficult to find out but, I was able to find the real links to the video files. Now keep in mind some of these links probably no longer work. And the whole link from the text file may not even work, it may just be the end, which is the video file name. :D
iBook Introduction QuickTime video direct links:
http://stream.qtv.apple.com/events/may/ibook/ibook_300.mov (150 MB)
http://stream.qtv.apple.com/events/may/ibook/ibook_100.mov (50 MB)
http://stream.qtv.apple.com/events/may/ibook/ibook_56.mov (27 MB)
So let's try the rest, see if we can maybe get a good list going. :p

When you do this, can you please update the guide (http://guides.macrumors.com/Apple_Keynote_Archive) if you know how to do wiki markup? (It's easy to learn...in fact, just looking at what other people have done gives you a very good idea of how it works.) If you don't feel comfortable doing it, just post the links here and someone will get around to doing it eventually.
I don't have time to check through the individual links now, but I did update the iBook special event with direct links. Thanks, LimeiBook86!

I have all the videos from AppleKeynotes.com, and did hold the domain until a few weeks ago. Sadly as the domain name was one of the issues Apple raised with us, I was emailed and it was suggested to me that I should not renew the domain. One of the people who helped put together AppleKeynotes.com made that complete apple keynote collection.. So I would be surprised if any of the files are dodgy. My version of WWDC 2003 is a 480MB avi, for what its worth.

Apologies if everyone's already seen this, but I thought it was a bit of fun:
The Premise
Steve Jobs gives a legendary keynote at Macworld SF every January, launching products and giving a state of the union view of things at Apple. I wondered what effect the Jobs keynote had on Apple's (AAPL) stock price in the short term. What if you invested $10,000 the day before the keynote, then sold at the end of the keynote day? What if you waited until the day after? What if you did this every year for the past ten years that Jobs has been doing them? Is it possible to make money off the Apple keynote talks given by Steve Jobs?

First of all, still looking for that october 2005 mov file. Anyone have it?
Also, the WWDC 2004 keynote stops about 3/5 of the way through. It screws up when I downloaded it then, too.
Anyone have a non-broken link to either of these files?
I also have the Macworld 2005 keynote, if anyone wants it.... I'll upload it to my site and link it when it's done. But first, tell me if anyone wants it.

Please, everyone be patient, In a few weeks most of the keynotes will be here, just be patient.
Also, my bandwidth is getting swallowed like crazy, so if you are going to watch these keynotes, DOWNLOAD them to your computer. Each time you visit you are eating bandwidth and others chances of watching.
I don't want to shut this thing down so let's be wise.

Nice collection - I've a couple of videos that you don't have so I'll send you a separate email about them.
I'm having problems playing the 1999 MacWorld Tokyo keynote. It seems to be in an old RealPlayer codec that even RealPlayer can't handle these days! VLC won't touch it either and VisualHub can't convert it. Your version seems to have the same problem as the one I have on my hard drive. Anyone any luck with 1999 MacWorld Tokyo? Otherwise we've lost it forever :(
