I want to buy, or trade for a 2G iPod shuffle. Let me know if you have one, and we can try to work something out.
Thanks!

I'm 97.8% sure that the 2G shuffle was only ever released in a 1GB model.
Second, I was looking at the apple refurb store today and saw that they have both silver and orange models for $49. Just FYI.

The 2G refers to 'second generation'. A 2G shuffle is a newer style with the clip. The Juicy Fruit-esque shuffle could be called 1G I suppose.
I 2nd the motion for refurb if one doesn't pop up on here. 49 shipped

Sorry, my mistake. Yes, it was only released in a 1GB model.

The one other piece of advice i might give, other than buying from the refurb store, is buying it from bestbuy and spending the $12 to get the 3 year replacement warranty.
I normally wouldn't do that.. but we all know how often ipods break and $12 is nothing to get a new one in a year when yours starts blinking funny. Their replacement policy is pretty forgiving... and if you're going to use it to work out with, sweat on, and such.. it's only a matter of time before it dies. With bb's policy you get a new one, very few questions asked.
$49 is a good price from apple... but I'd rather spend $79 plus $12 and get a brand new model when it (and it will) breaks.

BB offers it on all products, but the cost of the replacement plan goes up depending on the item.
Here's more info (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8259047&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat113600050001&id=1169857811358), and it turns out it's $13, not $12. From the BB page, click "Protect your investment" in the upper/middle right... :)

I'm hunting around right now, but I'm thinking about the BB route as well.
