I know its probably a longshot, but does anyone have an unused applecare registration for a mini? My initial 1yr expires in 11 days and Im attempting to find one for cheaper than the $149 price tag.
I thought I had one from Ebay for $70. The seller didnt take Paypal but took Bidpay. About 30min after paying I get an email from Bidpay that the payment was cancelled. The seller follows up about 2 days later and tells me Bidpay wont allow extended warranty item to be sold.
Then I was trying to get my brother to look into getting me one since he works at a university, but he's dragging his feet too.
So as it gets closer and closer to May 29, it looks like I may be paying full price :(
edit - found on one ebay for $85 total. Thanks for the suggestions though. *wipes brow now that mini is covered for another 2yrs. Begins looking for another applecare for wifes macbook which expired next month :( *
edit 2 - must be my lucky day. The same seller happened to have a macbook applecare, sold it to me for $130 shipped. :)
