In the news today were even more entities who plan to sue P2P individuals for damages incurred in downloading and sharing files and music.

While I agree in principle, I'd like to be able to try a track or two before I buy a CD.

That said, is there a way to totally disguise my IP address when hooked into a P2P network?

I'm using Acquisition (YES, I paid the $15 for a full license) on a G4 dual processor running OSX.

Thanks,

There are a few apps that sheild your IP, but kazaa is not one of them.

You can just have a proxy server, but I think they are only PC based and you need the right port...ext, real hassel, I got around my schools interweb filter that way, but it was too much of a hassle just for /. (is slashdot that bad that they needed to block it?)
