Changing Grab's Default Format?

In OSX there is a tool called "Grab". It lets you grab screen shots.

It defaults to file.tiff... is there a way to make it save as a .jpg or something? 😕

In order to post to this board I have to make a capture, open it up the .tiff in Photoshop, and then convert it to .jpg. 🙁
 
I use OnyX to change the screenshot format, but it doesn't appear to affect the output of Grab.

The keyboard shortcuts are quicker and easier, and you'll be able to change the file format as you wish.

Command-Shift-3 = Screen
Command-Shift-4 = Selection
Command-Shift-4 + Spacebar = Window
